Entry Doors - Specifications
Wood
- The door profile is made from a treated selected multi-layer timber (pine - softwood, oak, meranti, larch - hardwood); it helps to minimize swelling and warping and to prolong the life of the product.
Glass
- We use a well-known Saint Gobain laminated Low-E glass to provide a maximum safety. Other glass options are: toughened, obscure, or with a mirror effect.
- A factory-fitted glazing unit is filled with argon gas to prevent heat loss.
Finish and Design
- We provide entry doors of several profiles.
- Various styles of the wooden entry doors are possible, with or without glass panels. The glass panels can have wooden or metal glazing bars. Door styles are available here.
- Our wooden entry doors are fully factory-finished, can be micro-porous painted in any 200 RAL palette colour or varnished (20 standard stains), or both (painted from one side and varnished from the other side). Micro-porous coating protects wood from the weather influence and minimum maintenance is required.
- Aluminium clad doors provide a maximum weather-tightness performance and durability. Water condensation and heat transfer are minimized. Various powder coating options are available.
Security
- Our entry doors ensure a high level of safety by incorporating multi-point locking hardware. Hardware is made by a leading German hardware company, Siegenia-Aubi, known for ease in operation.
- ASSA dead-lock is used for a tough safety control.
Performance and Insulation
- Our wooden entry doors with double-glazed units have been tested to PAS 24-1 test which they successfully passed.
- The doors have a draught sealing for heat insulation.
Access
- A low aluminium threshold can be fitted to provide an easy access.
- An internal wooden board and external sill can be provided as well.
